The Need

Many L&D teams operate as training ticket responders—fulfilling content requests without diagnosing the real performance gap. This limits business impact and keeps design teams out of strategic conversations.

Solution Design

  • Audience: Instructional Designers and learning consultants (virtual/hybrid).
  • Format: 90-minute VILT with producer support; live polls, breakouts, and collaborative boards.
  • Framework: Utilizes Gagne's 9 Events of Instruction to create an engaging and memorable training to reframe requests into outcomes.
  • Practice: Roleplay between ID and business partner using targeted probing questions and success metrics.
